Facilities for the Boarders

The school provides child-centric facilities in the Boarding facility that create a suitable, appropriate and conducive environment quintessential for the desired growth of all the Boarders.The school has kept three primary aspects into consideration namely individual attention, proper development in all spheres and safety and security.

Some of the key facilities provided to the Boarders are:

Transportation Facilities

The transport service provider extends the School transport facility; the School only supervises & supports for smooth & hassle-free service.Transport facility is provided to commute children from nearby areas. The vehicles provided are well maintained, spacious, full-bodied buses which meet the transport rules & requirements. The drivers & conductors are specially trained to handle children, especially the ones of pre-primary classes. The school’s fleet of buses criss-cross on routes covering the entire city. The buses are spacious with a capacity to accomodate 44 seats for students in every bus. The teachers ensure discipline in the bus so that the bus rules are not flouted. The school bus drivers are responsible to drop the children at their stops within an hour of the school getting over. At the moment, the school runs two separate routes for junior and senior students.

Sport Facilities

Oxford Malwa Academy boasts a host of outstanding indoor and outdoor sporting facilities. These facilities have been under constant enhancement and modernization over the years.

INDOOR FACILITIES

The indoor sports complex at Oxford Malwa Academy is one of its highlights and houses high end indoor facilities for Badminton, squash, Indoor cricket and table tennis. This complex has separate washrooms for girls and boys.

Laboratories

The school has distinct and separate science laboratories for practical sessions in Physics, Chemistry, Home Science, and Biology in accordance with the CBSE curriculum.

The laboratories are spacious and offer modern and excellent equipment where our students are encouraged to use their analytical and creative skills through research and experimentation.

Apart from the Middle and Secondary School, students of the Primary School also have regular laboratory sessions in their curriculum.

Physics Lab

Children's natural inclination for exploration and experimentation aligns well with Physics, an experimental science. In physics labs, students gain hands-on experience of scientific concepts and laws, fostering skills in observation, communication, accuracy, collaboration, and exactness. They learn to identify objects, phenomena, question universal facts, plan experiments, process data, and draw concrete conclusions, deepening their understanding of the world.

Chemistry Lab

Chemistry is the study of matter and its interactions with other matter and energy. Lab work is considered essential in promoting student’s learning of science and of scientific inquiry. The school has the best designed, spacious, sophisticated and safe laboratory equipped with the most modern apparatus.

Biology

Biology is a science of life. It is the study of living organisms, plants and understanding our ecosystem. A fascinating study that opens the door to endless possibilities when it comes to Health, Environment, Conservationism, Genetics, Using and Preserving of Natural Resources.

Maths Lab

Contrary to the myth that Math is a dreary subject, it can be taught in an invigorating environment to stimulate interest and change approaches. It helps students understand concepts through concrete objects and situations, enabling them to verify geometrical properties and enjoy finding solutions to mind-boggling questions.



Library

Oxford Malwa Academy students have access to a very well equipped Library with all Relevant Books, Magazines. Newspapers, and other Resources in place to help students with their Academic Work.

Rules for Students

  • Perfect silence and order must be maintained in the library.
  • Only one book at a time will be issued on appointed days.
  • Books should be returned on the day mentioned in the card.
  • Book lost will have to be paid for.

  • All library books must be returned by the end of academic year.
  • For late submission Rs. 1 will be charged per day as penalty.
  • Hostel Facility
